Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a safe and welcoming space created just for you — a place where you can feel supported, understood, and free to be yourself without judgment. Establishing rapport and building a true sense of trust and safety is essential in creating the foundation for therapeutic success. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, meaning we’ll work together at your pace to explore what matters most to you. Whether you’re healing from past hurts, facing current challenges, or preparing for future changes, therapy can help you uncover patterns, set meaningful goals, and discover new and healthier ways of coping. Our work may draw from different therapeutic approaches, always tailored to what is most helpful for you. In this space, you can process difficult experiences, strengthen your relationships, and nurture your well-being. Most importantly, therapy is about giving yourself the chance to grow, heal, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and truly your own.

Play-Based Individual Therapy (age 5+)
Play-based individual therapy is grounded in the idea that play is a child’s language of expression, just as talking is for adults. When children may not have the words to describe what they feel, they use toys, games, art, and storytelling to communicate what’s happening inside. Through play, children can share feelings, work through challenges, and say what they cannot yet put into words. As with individual therapy described above, establishing rapport and building a true sense of trust and safety is essential in creating the foundation for therapeutic success. My approach is creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where children are free to express themselves in a safe and nonjudgmental space. This connection helps them explore different levels of their emotional experience, gently process difficult thoughts or feelings, strengthens coping skills, and supports healthy growth and development.
